Identify several synonyms for Hydrogen Sulfide.
Identify the safe exposure limit for Hydrogen Sulfide.
Describe the odor characteristics of Hydrogen Sulfide.
Identify the toxic gas formed when Hydrogen Sulfide is flared.
Discuss the effects of exposure to Hydrogen Sulfide.
Identify the signals associated with alarm points on fixed Hydrogen Sulfide monitoring systems.
Describe the actions workers are expected to perform at each alarm point.
Identify the respiratory protection that must be used in Hydrogen Sulfide atmospheres.
Describe how to rescue a Hydrogen Sulfide victim.

Health hazard of H2S gas.
Occupational exposure limits.

Target Audience:
All staff who could be exposed to Hydrogen Sulfide are required to attend this training.
Validity:
H2S course is valid for 2 years.
Test:
A multiple-choice test is administered at the conclusion of the program. Incorrectly answered questions will be reviewed with student to ensure understanding before completion of course.
Course Materials:
All participants are issued a Training Manual (Student Guide).
Course Completion Certificate:
Program participants who successfully complete the course are issued a certificate of completion & H2S card.
